- 16/10/2007 Absolute
Winners on Euro 2008 qualifiers
Bulgaria still has a very slim hope of qualifying
to next year finals provided they beat Group G leader Romania tonite and beat
Slovenia next Wednesday and at the same time hoping for Netherlands to slip
against Belarus during their final match next Wednesday. The possibility is
small but to make next Wednesday schedule interesting, they have to win tonite
especially Romania has already qualify for the final and has nothing to play
for tonite.
You know Italy have a big match tonite playing
away to Scotland. The Italian can not afford to loss. If they lost to Scotland
tonite they are out of Euro 2008. They can afford to draw though. The Italians
have a match in hand. They can play to a draw tonite and beat Faroe Islands
during their last qualifying match and still finish second in Group B and
qualify for the Finals next year. So your odds is a dirty game from the
Italian. That is the only danger. The worst case scenario is a draw and you
loss half your money giving 1/4 handicap. Upside is an easy win for the
Italians.
It is win or out for Turkey tonite playing away to
Norway. Turkey has to win to keep their qualifying hope alive. Greece already
qualifies and finishes as 1st place of Group C. Turkey and Norway fight for
the second place finish. Turkey final qualifying match is at home against
Bosnia, Norway has an easy away match to Malta. Turkey has to win the match
tonight, a draw is not even an option. With +1/4 handicap on hand, this is a
very good bet.
Denmark is 3rd on Group F with slim chance of
finishing top 2. But they have 2 easy matches remain - away to Northern
Ireland and at home to Iceland. With the Group F top 2 teams Spain and Sweden
playing against each other tonite, you can be certain that Denmark will give
it's all to beat Northern Ireland which is a pretty fucked up team.
- 30/10/2007 Would you win money if you always bet on good
teams throughout the entire season?
Results updated as of October 30, 2007:
1) Both Man Utd and Chelsea have picked up the
pace. They have won and covered the Asian Handicap of all their 3 EPL matches
in the month of October.
2) Bayern Munich has started to show some funny
sign. They have not covered the Asian Handicap for last 2 of their 3 matches
in October.
3) Even though Real Madrid and Barcelona has lost
by Asian Handicap 1 of their 3 La Liga matches in October, among all the big
guns in Europe, they appear to be the more "consistent" teams so
far. If you are clueless about which teams to bet, let's continue to bank on
Real Madrid and Barcelona for the month of November.

Rugby World Cup 3rd place and FINAL picks and analysis
3rd Place - Argentina vs France (EverydayBigWin pick:
Argentina
+10.5) Win
FINAL - South Africa vs England (EverydayBigWin pick:
South
Africa -8) Win
3rd Place - It is a huge surprise, at least to us
when France lost to England in the Semi-Final. The French was suppose to be
the better, full of confidence after their Quarter Final upset win against New
Zealand. Well, I guess what they say is correct - the ball is round, you never
know what can happen on a playing field. (But then again Rugby ball is NOT
round.....) Joking aside, we are betting on Argentina +10.5. We are hoping at
least Argentina would not lost the 3rd place match against France by more than
10 points. Bear in mind that Argentina played really well against the mighty
South Africa before collapsing in the last 15 minutes of the match. A 3rd
place finish would be an extraordinary achievement, unprecedented
accomplishment for the Argentine. As for the French, they have been there
before, 3rd or 4th placing is indifference to them. Finally one thing you have
to always remember about the French, they are a weird brunch of people by
nature, they are proud, at times arrogant, they can cook, they have a bit
history (not as much as the Chinese, the Italian (Rome) and the Greek) but
when the going gets tough, they limp, they flop and they surrender. World War
II basically defines the character of the general French. They willingly
surrender to the German without giving up a fight, no bullets exchange, no
casualty of war for the French. They surrender so that they can continue to
cook their food and drink their wine.
FINAL - This is going to be a good one. We don't
like the English for obvious reason: As much as we hate the racism Aussie, we
did not believe the English deserve to win the 2003 World Cup 4 years ago. 4
years later we still do not think they were the best team in the world in 2003
AND we do not think they are the best team in the world NOW. In a tournament
as big as the once every 4 years World Cup, you want to see the best team win
it all. Based on what we have seen throughout this 2007 Rugby World Cup, South
Africa has been the best team in term of consistency. We think South Africa
would beat England and win 2007 Rugby World Cup AND cover the handicap of -8.
(One irrelevant fact for your consideration before you place your money on the
South African. Do you know what they say about white South African aged 40
years old and above. All white South African 40 years old and above have
either killed a black people, tortured a black people or raped a black people
in their life. Do you want to support such people?)

12/10/2007 EURO
2008 qualifiers
From a punter's perspective, the very good thing
about this EURO 2008 qualifiers is that there is no play-off. Unlike the
previous European Championship qualifying rounds when the second and/or third
teams played a home and away play-off match to determine the last 5 or 6
qualifying place. That would leave a some margin of "error" for some
very good teams (eg. Spain and Germany both qualify to Euro 2004 through
playoff) during the qualifying rounds. Now only the top 2 teams of each group
qualify for the 2008 European Championship. There is less margin for dirty
games because if you finish 3rd place of the group, you are out, no play-off
for last chance.
So after half way through the qualifying, now is
the best chance to win money. Pick the good team that can no afford to draw or
loss their remaining matches and bet your money on them. Here are our money
bets:
Serbia -1.25 against Armenia - Serbia is currently
4th place of Group A with a game in hand. They still have a good chance to
fight for the top 2 finishing and should rightfully do so. If this is a clean
match, they should have no problem to beat Armenia even playing away from
home. Based on the odds of -1.25 playing away, we would like to think that
Serbia will win the match and cover the Asian Handicap. (There are 16
competitive Euro 2008 qualifiers tonight, only 3 teams (Serbia, Germany and
Turkey) have to give up the handicap playing away from home.)
Same logic applied to Turkey who is playing away
at Moldova and give up 1.5 Asian Handicap. Turkey is currently 3rd place on
Group C, same point as Norway and 2 points behind Group C leader Greece with
Bosnia 4 points behind Turkey. Turkey can not afford to loss or draw this
match tonite. Let's hope they can cover the handicap too.
Denmark is 5 points behind Group F leader Sweden
with Northern Ireland 2 points ahead of them and Spain 5 points at 2nd place.
Group F is a tough group. You would expect Spain, Sweden and Denmark to fight
it out. Denmark is playing at home tonight against the mighty Spain. If they
loss this match at home tonite, it is fair to say that Denmark do not deserve
to qualify for 2008 European Championship. The odds is level game. This is a
money bet.

Rugby World Cup quarter finals picks and analysis
Semi Final 1 - France vs England (EverydayBigWin pick:
France
-8.5) Loss
Semi Final 2 - South Africa vs Argentina (EverydayBigWin pick:
South
Africa
-10) Win
We are reluctant to take the points in any match
during Rugby World Cup. The fact that none of the favourite teams covered the
handicap during the 4 quarter final matches support our strategic. But we hate
England, they play boring rugby and they did not deserve to win the Rugby
World Cup 4 years ago. In addition, France played one of the most beautiful
rugby world cup match last week during their come from behind upset of New
Zealand (just as we predicted). The particular match is going to go down the
history as one of the Rugby World Cup epic. We are going to put our money on
France -8.5 against England. The risk is this could be a close game. France
may win out but not cover the handicap.
When we look at the handicap offered by the bookie
on South Africa vs Argentina match we want to laugh. This is a joke. South
Africa is the world #2 team right now and they are strong. Argentina is a
minor in the world of rugby as near as 2 years ago. To play in the
quarterfinal is already a wonderful achievement for Argentina. Beating
Scotland and qualified for Semi Final is the greatest accomplishment for the
Argentine rugby, something no Argentine would ever dream of... and the
handicap against South Africa is 10 points? We like the underdogs, especially
in Rugby World Cup. But when you see an odds/handicap that makes you laugh,
you got to love your money better.
(YES, we know we are betting against our strategic
and principle for Rugby World Cup by taking France -8.5 and South Africa -10.
But... sometimes you have to follow your brain, not your heart.)

5/10/2007 2007
Rugby World Cup quarter finals picks and analysis
Q1 - Australia vs England (EverydayBigWin pick: Australia
-14.5) Loss
Q2 - New Zealand vs France (EverydayBigWin pick: France
+14.5) Win
Q3 - South Africa vs Fiji (EverydayBigWin pick: Fiji
+35.5) Win
Q4 - Argentina vs Scotland (EverydayBigWin pick: Argentina
-13.5) Loss
Even though England is the defending
champion, this England team sucks big time. Australia will beat England
easily. Hopefully they can cover the spread too. New Zealand is the best team
in the world of Rugby Union right now and they are the overwhelming favourite
to win the 2007 World Cup. France is the host nation and they are not too bad
themselves. This is going to be a fascinating match. If you are a Rugby fan,
don't miss this one. If you are not a Rugby fan yet, you should bet some money
on the match and try to watch if you can. We reckon this is the best match up
so far in this World Cup. South Africa is rank #2 team in the world right now
but we think they are over rated. Fiji has flair. If they can stay close with
South Africa during the first half, they would have a chance. 4 years ago and
beyond, you would never imagine that Argentina has to give up a 13.5 spread to
Scotland. This just shows how far and how fast the rest of the countries have
come up against the traditional big teams in the Rugby Union. Argentina is
power spear. Scotland has no talent and no size. Argentina will win the match,
hopefully they cover.

1/10/2007 Champions
League 2 Minutes Analysis
Our best 2 Minutes Analysis are back with popular
demand. So here you go... (2 minutes):
At this early stage of the lucrative Champions
League competition, most team especially middle tier teams can not afford to
play dirty matches. So if unsure, the best thing is to bet on home team. Do
not bet on Turkish team such as Fenerbahce away from Turkey. CSKA Moscow is a
good team, especially at home. Dynamo Kiev is another good team playing at
home. The only concern is the 0.25 handicap, which appears to be a little on
the low side. Inter Milan has been so hot on Serie A, do not bet against them
in the Champions League. (After winning last season Serie S title, if there is
one trophy that they want more, it would be the Champion League title.) Never
bet on Scottish team away from home, they suck big time. Roma is on top form
and Man Utd is a weaker team right now as compared to the one last season, bet
on the Italian to avoid humiliation for the second time. Seville is too good
at home to a Prague team, they will cover the handicap easily. Arsenal is
still good enough playing away at Romania. Barcelona is going to play a dirty
match away to Stuttgart.
- Would you win money if you always bet on good
teams throughout the entire season?
There is an old school of thought when it comes to
soccer betting. Always bet on the good teams (on Asian Handicap) throughout
the entire season and you will end up with positive winnings by the end of the
season. It is true that once a while these teams play a lousy match or a dirty
match regardless. But at the end of the season, they will win more matches
then they loss (on Asian Handicap). So if you close your eyes and just keep
betting on these good teams throughout the entire season, you will win money
at the end of the season.
To prove if this is true, we are going to keep
track of the results of the BIG 4 (Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal) in
English Premier League; the BIG 4 (Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma)
in Serie A; the BIG 2 (Real Madrid and Barcelona) in Spanish La Liga and the
BIG 1 (Bayern Munich) in German Bundesliga for Season 2007/2008.
Results as of September 4, 2007 (will be updated weekly):
A
couple thing as of September 3: If you are a die hard Man Utd fan and have
been betting blindly on Man Utd so far this early season, then you are fucked.
Man Utd has not won a match on Asian Handicap at this point. Same for the
Chelsea fan. On the other hand, if you have been betting on the BIG 4 teams in
Serie A for the last couple of weeks then you would have make a lot of money.
The combined Asian Handicap result for the BIG 4 teams in the Serie A after 2
round of matches are a whopping 6 wins 2 loss (75%).
Results updated as of September 30, 2007:
After almost 2 months of action, this is basically the summary of all the big
guns in Europe:
1) If you are Chelsea fan and has been betting
continuously on Chelsea, you are fucked... Chelsea has not won a single match
on Asian Handicap.
2) Apparently Bundesliga and La Liga appear to be
the less dirty league in Europe. If you continue to bet on the big guns in
these 2 leagues, namely Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona, you would
have a net profit so far with the 3 teams showing a combined result of 15 wins
and 5 losses (75%). This is going to be our strategic going forward for the
next 1 month.
3) Juventus is the best bet in Serie A and Arsenal
is the best bet in EPL, at least based on the first 2 months results. We
will continue to bet on Juventus and Arsenal for the next 1 month.

- Rugby World Cup 2007 - special tribute to a long
lost buddy Mr. Wong Cheng Leong
Rugby World Cup 2007 started a few days ago in
France. This is a big event, once every 4 years, just like the Soccer World
Cup or the Olympics. Many people do not recognize or pay attention to the
Rugby World Cup in the past but its interest has gradually grown over the
years mainly thanks to the satellite era where people can now watch all the
matches live on cable TV.
4 years ago when England won the World Cup by
beating Australia with a last minute drop goal, I had to eat my words on the
internet that ".. despite having the longest history in these sports, in
your life time, you would never see England wins another Soccer World Cup,
Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup or an English man wins Wimbledon
(tennis)..." Subsequently after the drop goal, a kind English man
attacked me on the internet with such vicious comment that I wondered if he
would have killed me in person. Well, that was all in the past. 4 years has
gone passed before you know it.
Today before we talked about Rugby World Cup,
before we give away the best betting tips for Rugby World Cup, we want to take
this opportunity to remember our buddy Mr. Wong Cheng Leong whom we have
unfortunately lost touch since moving across the Pacific Ocean 4 years
ago.
Many years ago before I became a professional
gambler, I worked in a public accounting firm and have to go out to client's
site most of the time, we called that working on the field. Cheng Leong is a
colleague of mine. Every time when we were out at the field, we skipped the
work and went to the nearest snooker center to play snooker. That was really
fun time, especially when you were young. As far as I can remember, Cheng
Leong is the best snooker player I have seen in my life, including now, when I
have already met a few semi-pro Filipino pool players in another continent. So
you can guess how good Cheng Leong is as a snooker player.
Cheng Leong is a gambler too and he always like to
remind me that I was the person who taught him how to bet on Rugby - everyone
in the Asia bet soccer, most American bet the American football, NBA or even
Major League Baseball, but I taught him how to bet Rugby. That was 1999.
Remember the night when I called you and woke you
up 1am in the morning to insist that you bet with me on the 3rd place play off
match between New Zealand and South Africa because I couldn't find any odds
offered by all the online bookmakers for the 3rd place play off match, and as
a compulsive gambler at that time, I simple have to bet on it.... Sleepily and
probably not sure what the hell was going on being woke up in the middle of
the night for an inconsequence Rugby match, you agreed with the odds that I
set up myself and picked a side so as to fulfill my compulsive gambler itch..
(Needless to say, I won the bet. :-))
Many years have gone passed and we have gone on to
live our separate life. But every 4 years when it comes to the Rugby World Cup
time, no matter where I am, no matter what I am doing, I will always be
thinking of you, cheerishing the memory and the friendship that we share.. So
on this day at this time, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, I want you
to know that a long lost friend is thinking about you...
Historical Rugby World Cup winners:
1987 - New Zealand
1991 - Australia
1995 - South Africa
1999 - Australia
2003 - England
The best tips to bet Rugby World Cup matches is to
take the lower plate all the times during the round robin matches. Simple take
the points (spread) for all the round robin matches. At the end of the
tournament, you will win overwhelmingly more than you lost. This is a
historical fact since 1991, it has been proven for the last 4 Rugby World Cup
and more than 16 years of statistic. If you are a sport gambler, don't miss
out on this once every 4 years betting opportunity.
The pick is simple. Peyton Manning is going to
pick apart the entire Chicago Bears defense. There is no doubts about
it.
So you start asking yourself - WHY is it a 7
points spread, merely a Touch Down. Then you start to wonder. Then you start
to worry. Then you remember and you remember... 4 of the last 5 Super Bowl
winners did not cover the spread:
- 2005 New England Patriots -6 and defeated
Philadelphia Eagles by 24-21
- 2004 New England Patriots -8.5 and defeated
Carolina Panthers by 32-29
- 2003 Oakland Raiders -7 against Tampa Bay
Buccaneers and LOST the game by 21-42
- 2002 St Louis Rams -14 against New England
Patriots and LOST the game by 20-17.
And so you ask yourself why. The reason is simple.
Pretty much EVERY American has a bet on Super Bowl. The casino bookmakers in
Vegas will try to rig the game IF they can. Otherwise, the favourite team will
give a really high spread.
Colts -7 (a Touch Down) is not a high spread.
Bears sucks. They can't run the ball, the Quarterback can't throw the ball
safely. A lot has been said about Bears having the best defense in the
country. But that won't help the cause. Payton Manning and Colts' offence is
the best one has ever seen in recent NFL history. It is unstoppable. If you
follow NFL for the last decade you will know what we are talking about. It you
are new to NFL then you just have to trust us. So the natural question you
want to ask is "If the Colts are so good, why they have not even been in
the Super Bowl since Peyton Manning's era?" Well, the answer is simple -
Colts have lost to the eventual Super Bowl winner in the AFC playoff for the
last 3 years (2006 Pittsburgh Steelers, 2005 New England Patriots, 2004 New
England Patriots).
Finally.... the last piece of information you
should know before you bet your money on whatever pick it is. We have $500 on
Colts winning the Super Bowl one month ago before the post season starts at 1
to 11. Naturally we will now "hedge" our bet with Bears +7. If Colts
win by anything below 7, we win both bets.... So, don't let our pick affect
your heart.
The ultimate truth is Colts will be unstoppable on
Sunday and Peyton Manning will go down the history as the best QB in modern
NFL history.

League 2 Minutes Analysis
1) Usually you don't trust the Greek playing away
from home because they are the mama's boy. They just can't play away matches
but with so much on the line, you have to bet on AEK
Athens for once they will get a result
from the Belgium. 2) Real Madrid has nothing to play for in this away
cold game in Kiev,
Ukraine. You hope the ex-Soviet Union Army will close their Champions League
campaign with a home win against the mighty Real. 3) Again you don't
trust the Scottish away from the Heartland but Celtics
wants this so bad and Copenhagen is such a lousy team you have to bet that
Celtics will at least get a draw in Denmark. 4) Hamburg vs CSKA Moscow - this
is the sucker punch of the week, don't fall for it. 5) The bookies
have faith in Man Utd giving 1.25 Handicap but Man
Utd only needs a draw to qualify. Follow
the bookies. 6) Porto
is a good team. Don't bet against them at Portugal.
-
22/11/2006 Champions
League 8 Matches 2 Minutes Analysis Win

1) CSKA Moskow is a very good team. A home win
tonight will see them through to Round 16. However, a draw will still give
them a second chance 2 weeks later to play a very weak Hamburg at Germany
while Porto
(Win )
has to beat Arsenal at home 2 weeks later to qualify for Round 16 at the
expense of CSKA. 2) AC Milan has not been playing well in domestic
Serie A matches. Traditionally Greek teams are not easy to defeated in Greece
especially AEK
Athens (Win )
Arsenal
(Win )
Benfica
(Win )
Celtics
(Win )
Lille
needs points to secure Round 16 qualification since they are going to play
their last group match away at AC Milan 2 weeks later. Historically Belgium
team can't play away leg. So don't bet on Anderlecht. 7) Real
Madrid playing at Santiago Bernabeu giving half ball to Lyon
(Win )
- 12/11/2006 Dirty
Sunday 2 Minutes 6 Matches Analysis
Here we go again, a Super (Dirty) Sunday:
Tottenham unbeaten in its last 5 matches including
last week home win against Chelsea -0.25 away to Reading,
a team that has lost its last 4 matches, yet Tottenham is winning full 100% at
-0.25. Besides the market -0.5 plate for Arsenal against Liverpool,
there is currently another plate available for Arsenal at -0.25 win less at
75%. If Arsenal is to win this home match, the second plate would not be
available in the market. Siena, a team that is unbeaten for its last 8
matches playing at home -0.25 (not even a god damn half ball) against Reggina,
rock bottom at Serie A table. The bookies is fucking with our mind.
Palermo, winner of its last 4 consecutive matches -1 at home against Torino.
Real Madrid playing away -0.75 win full with no discount to Osasuna.
So the bookies is simply asking you if you think Real Madrid will come away a
winner. Same for Barcelona -1 at home against Zaragoza.
One goal handicap for a match between 2nd and 3rd place appears very high but
then again, who would bet against Barca at Nou Camp. If you are a punter who
bets week in week out but you refuse to bet on such matches because they
appear high risk then perhaps you should not be a seasonal punter.
- 5/11/2006 Inter
Milan vs Ascoli
If you are the bookies, how are you going to offer
the plate for a one sided match when the home team Inter Milan, top of Serie A
table, fresh from a very important midweek Champions League away win against
Spartak Moscow, play against Ascoli, a team that has not won a single match so
far this season. While contemplating your plate, what else come into
consideration? 1) Inter top striker Adriano is back; 2) Inter has just beaten
its city rival AC Milan in a dramatic win last weekend whole Ascoli lost at
home to Siena; 3) Ascoli has scored the fewest goal (5 goals) in Serie A while
conceding 12 goals so far; 4) Several Inter Milan key players (Vieira, Recoba,
Cambiasso) are reported injured not to mention Materazzi is suspended.
If we were the bookies, we would probably offer
the plate at Inter -1.75 goals win less at may be 80% discount knowing most
people would bet on upper plate. But as a punter, we will bet on Ascoli, open
up a bottle of drink, sit back, enjoy the match and hope that Ascoli can hold
for 90 minutes.
Some Ascoli joker want to miss Penalty pick ain't
nobody's fault but themselves.
- 31/10/2006 Champions
League 2 Minutes QUICK CAP
Spartak Moscow is not a lousy team not to mention
they are playing at home. Inter
Milan has to give half ball playing at
Moscow means it is a clean match and Inter has to win cause Sporting
Lisbon is getting at least a point tonight
away to Bayern Munich. Speaking of which, Bayern has a couple of good wins
(and cover the Asian Handicap) recently in Bundesliga and Champions League,
time to do a draw at home. Everybody thinks Barcelona needs to win somehow Chelsea
survive in Nou Camp; everybody thinks Levski
Sofia sucks yet they survive the Asian
Handicap. Liverpool
gives 1.25 at home to Bordeaux means they will cover; PSV "undeservedly"
defeated Galatasaray
2 weeks ago means they have to give it back to the Turks tonight. When you see
top Italian teams (like Roma) give 1.25 at home and win 100% (with no discount
to bookies) in European competitions usually mean they won't cover the Asian
Handicap (to Olympiakos)
otherwise they will give 1.5. You make people (Shakhtar
Donetsk)
played through shit the entire year in order to appear in Champions League
sometimes you have to give the home fan a bit of cheers right.
AC Milan vs Inter
Milan
This is Match of The Week in all the European
soccer this week and the plate is level match with AC Milan win less at 80% or
85% discount. Inter Milan has been overshadowed by its city rival AC
Milan since the late 80's and early 90's when Inter Milan has the 3 German
Musketeers. Long gone were the days and Inter has lost 6 Milan Derby in the
last 4 years.
This has to be the year of Inter Milan in Serie A
with AC Milan being deducted for 8 points and Juventus demoted to Serie B due
to match fixing scandal (what's new). Despite playing rather
unimpressively so far this season, Inter Milan remains unbeaten in Serie A.
However, Inter Milan has lost last 4 of its 5 Serie A matches on Asian
Handicap until their midweek 4-1 win against Livorno. Similarly, AC Milan has
lost last 5 of its 6 Serie A matches on Asian Handicap until their midweek 1-0
away win against Chievo. It is also a perception that AC Milan needs to make
ground desperately and they can not afford to loss this match otherwise they
will be 14 points behind Inter Milan.
This is going down to be a dog fight. It is too
good for AC Milan to sit on level match.

Why do we pick Sporting Lisbon:
There are 2 plates available in the market right
now. 1) Level plate with Bayern Munich win less at about 80% or 2) Bayern
Munich -0.25 win 100%. If you watch how Bayern Munich destroyed Hertha Berlin
during last weekend Bundesliga you will know that they have a very good team
there and they play excellence football. Either of the 2 plates does not
do justice to Bayern Munich's true strength or punters' expectation.
But the main reason we would place our money on
Sporting Lisbon is because Bayern Munich already has 6 points with 2 wins out
of 2 matches and are now top of Group B. If Bayern Munich wins tonight,
they will have 9 points and only need 1 more point from remaining 3 matches to
qualify to the knock out phase of the Champions League. With Inter Milan
currently lying at the bottom of Group B with 1 point, it could be too soon
for Bayern Munich to get their 9 points.
Third point - if Arsenal was giving 0.25 playing
away against CSKA Moscow last night, one would reasonably expect similar plate
for Bayern Munich playing away to Sporting Lisbon.

CSKA
Moscow vs Arsenal
This is Arsenal's record since their 1-1 draw
against Middlesbrough on September 9, 2006: Arsenal has 6 wins out of 6
matches including 2 Champions League matches at home against Porto and away
against Hamburg. Along the way, Arsenal has scored 13 goals while giving up
only 2 goals. In addition, Arsenal has covered the Asian Handicaps 5 times and
draw 1 time (2-1 win away to Charlton while giving 1 goal). This is nice. This
is really nice especially if you have been betting on Arsenal all the way
since September 9. In modern soccer world especially considering all the
betting hype surrounding the sport, this is almost phenomenon. All good things
come to a stop sooner or later (otherwise at some point of our life, all of us
don't have to work anymore).
The plate is Arsenal playing away at Moscow giving
0.25 goal. We have nothing much to say about the plate. It looks like a fair
plate and is probably a fair plate all factors considered.
CSKA Moscow is not a lousy fucked up team. Let's
not repeat ourselves when everyone already knows that CSKA has 4 points from 2
Champions League matches this season - home win against Hamburg and away draw
against Porto and they are last season surprise UEFA cup winner with a few
Brazilian on their team not to mention the freezing cold temperature in Moscow
right now. So either way you look at it, this is a side to pick, playing at
home and enjoy a 0.25 goal handicap and most importantly, a good match to
watch.
Wigan vs
Man Utd
Either this is a joke or we are a joke. Man Utd,
top of EPL table gives 1 goal playing away to Wigan... and yet Wigan has to
win less at 80% to 85%. Come on here. The bookies is teasing me, you and each
and everyone of the punters out there... They are challenging us right here
right now. So what, everyone know the sport is dirty, occasionally if not more
often then not. But do we dare to take the challenge?
Some jokers are telling us the plate has dropped
to Man Utd -0.75 goal as we speak?
We love soccer, just like you and everyone else.
But if this is how billion dollar worldwide betting has disgraced our beloved
sport, if this is how the bookies has polluted the love of our life, then we
got to do something about it. Take up the challenge and fuck them (the
bookies) up. So what if Man Utd wins 2 goals, cover the plate and you loss
money? It ain't no big deal. You bet so many matches every week, what is there
to loss 1 more. You will immediately cover back your losses tomorrow with an
easy win. Bottom line is we, unified as soccer lovers can not let bookies get
away with this.

Wales vs Cyprus:
Wales lost to Slovakia 1-5 at home four days ago
while Cyprus defeated Ireland 5-2 at the same time. As fucked up as Wales
soccer has become, they should still remain red hot favourite playing at home
to Cpyprus. Wales doesn't deserve to give a mere 0.75 goal to Cyprus. They
deserve better for the sake of Ian Rush, Ryan Giggs, once great Welsh international
players. As much a miracle for Cyprus to defeat Ireland last Saturday, they
remain a country with a population of 700,000 people which are renowned for
its 500 km of Mediterranean coast line (for the likes of Rio Ferdinand and
Co. to have their orgy parties) and Marco Baghdatis being the only famous
sport (tennis) player ever produced by Cyprus.
So this is either one out of a thousand matches
that bookies happen to offer the wrong plate OR this is the typical bookie
sucker punch.

Russia vs Isreal
:
Hot money is all over Russia because i) Russia
needs to win this game after a disappointing draw against Croatia in their
opening match last month; ii) Russia is playing at home with strong support
from Volka pumped up Russian crowd; iii) Over achiever Guss Hiddink still
waiting for his first win as Russia new manager for the Euro 2008 qualifying
campaign; iv) Isreal can kill as many innocent Palestian as they wish, but
they can't play soccer.
